Amino Acids

The human body required a certain amount of healthy amino acids to exist. Often defined as the body’s protein building blocks, the amino acid structure creates hormones, enzymes, and cells, build nucleoproteins, make antibodies to fight viruses and bacteria, and help repair damaged organs and tissues. They use amino acid for weight loss and amino acids and ADD treatments. Amino acid is critical for optimum muscle activity and important for channeling oxygen throughout the human body. Proline amino acid is a cyclic aliphatic amino acid and crucial component of the collagen protein. Of the 20 amino acids, eight are termed essential amino acids. An essential amino acid is one which the body does not manufacture so must come from a food source or amino acid supplements, while the body manufactures non-essential amino acids in people with proper overall nutrition.

The nonessential amino acids include tyrosine, serine, praline, glycine, glutamic acid, glutamine, cucteine, aspartic acid, asparagines, alanine, and arginine, which the body produces when necessary. Your body produces nonessential amino acids using essential amino acids in foods. Branched chain amino acids are valine, isoleucine, and amino acid leucine, which are essential amino acids. The richest sources of essential amino acids come from dairy products, eggs, fish, poultry, and meat. Amino acid found in sugar cane and other plant sources are sometimes deficient in some essential amino acids. Consuming a large variety of vegetables can often overcome these deficiencies. A good example of this is eating both grains and beans. Beans have an excess of lysine where grains are low in this amino acid. Eating the proper mix of amino acids is important but not necessarily eaten together or at the same meal. For people with a deficiency in nonessential amino acids, the cause is often an unbalanced diet, which is low in protein or sometimes chemical-imbalances.
